Air China recently unveiled its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to the public in Beijing. The national flagship carrier is China’s first airline to bring the 787-9 enter into service. In total, Air China ordered 15 B787-9s. The twin-aisle aircraft will seat 293 passengers: 30 in business class, 34 in premium economy and 229 in economy. The new aircraft will serve long-haul routes to North America, Europe and Oceania, allowing Air China to expand its nonstop services.
