Ancient Rock Carvings Discovered in Dazu, Chongqing

China is well-known for its incredible historic relics from centuries ago, but it seems that more ancient artifacts are still being discovered. Researchers are studying tombs in Dazu district, Chongqing province that were recently discovered and dating back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279).Two groups of tombs were discovered, each with exquisite rock carvings inside, as well as pottery utensils and bronze mirrors.
