“Beautiful China 2015 – Year of Silk Road Tourism” Launches

To promote the Silk Road as China’s latest alluring destination, an area rich with history, culture and new experiences for your clients to encounter, the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) introduced the theme for year 2015: “Beautiful China 2015 – Year of Silk Road Tourism.”

A recent event took place in Xi’an, capital of northwest China’s Shaanxi Province and the starting point of the Silk Road in China, to kick off the new initiative and theme of “Beautiful China 2015 – Year of Silk Road Tourism.” Du Jiang, Deputy Director of CNTA, attended the event and talked about how the Silk Road is prime for tourism and rich with history and culture.
