China Unveils Law to Improve Tourism

After nearly 30 years in the works and several revisions throughout the past year, China’s top legislature has recently adopted a new law to address tourism issues, protect the interests of tourists to China and foster the industry’s growth sustainably.

This first-ever tourism law details provisions on tourists’ rights to fair treatment and safety. It also sets provisions on business operations within the tourism industry, meaning improved products and services for travelers to China.
