CNN Highlights Family-Friendly Activities in China

China is a place of history, natural wonders and exotic sights, but not all travelers may necessarily think of it first for family travel. But, as CNN described in its recent “China with children” article, there are many activities throughout China to keep kids awed and entertained.

If simply standing atop the famous Great Wall is not enough to impress all the members of your family, perhaps a 2,372-foot-long ski lift ride to the top will be, or even tobogganing down to the valley via a 5,183-foot track. For animal lovers, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding allows visitors to feed pandas and even hold one in your arms. Take a kung fu class in the place where it was invented, fly a kite, float down the Yangshuo River, or even snack on a scorpion – these are just some of the unforgettable experiences that you and your family can discover in China.
