More than 300 ancient tombs of the Spring and Autumn Period (770476 BC), 1,800plus tombs of the Warring States Period (475221 BC), and over 8,000 tombs of the Han Dynasty (206 BCAD 220) have been excavated, with more than 20,000 well-preserved cultural relics. The cultural relics of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BCAD 25) excavated from Mawangdui, and bamboo slips discovered from Zou Malou are world renowned.
