Fujian

The Fujian Province or “Min” is located on the southeast coast of China. With many islands interspersed in the twists and turns of its coastline, the Fujian Province ranks second in length of coastline in China, leading to South Asia, West Asia and East Africa. It was the cradle of the Silk Road on Sea, statesman Zheng He’s voyages expeditionary voyages to the Middle East and East Africa, and a historic commerce and trade distribution center.
For 36 consecutive years, Fujian has ranked highest for being the greenest province in the country. Its list of tourist attractions – from the charming wonderland that is the Wuyi Mountains, piano-shaped Gulangyu Island, sacred Matsu Temple, the astonishing Danxia Landform, Tanshi Mountain to the mystery that is the Baishuiyang Geological Park ñ is long and exciting.
