Liuting International Airport† offers hundreds of flights, connecting Qingdao with destinations both in China and abroad including Busan, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Xian, and other major cities.

There are two railway stations – Qingdao Railway Station and Cangkou Railway Station for passengers looking to travel to cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanchang, Xuzhou, Zhengzhou, Xian, Lanzhou, Xining, Chengdu, Taiyuan, and also cities inside Shandong Province including Jinan, Heze, Yantai and Zibo.

Qingdaoís long-distance bus service to cities in and outside the Shandong Province is comprehensive, offering an estimated two thousand buses that leave for destinations such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Henan, Hebei, Hubei and some cities inside Shandong Province daily. Public bus is a primary means of transportation for Qingdao residents. There are several bus lines that crisscross the coast, and a special line dedicated to passing through tourist attractions such as Zhan Bridge†(Zhan Qiao),†Luxun Park,†Badaguan, and others.

Travel by ferryboat is another option. Several ferry boats travel between Qingdao and other cities, including Huangdao, Xueijia Island, and Zhucha Island.

Sightseeing boats are also a means of getting around the city for visitors, transporting passengers to the Qingdao Bay, Zhan Bridge, the Naval Museum, Luxum Park, and other scenic spots
