Shenyang

Located in the center of Liaoning Province towards the south of Northeast China, Shenyang has a population of more than 7 million people. There are an estimated 30 ethnic groups, such as Han, Manchu, Mongolian, Hui and Korean. Shenyang has a temperate and continental semi≠humid climate with four distinct seasons. Because it’s affected greatly by a monsoon climate, the best period to visit is from April to October.

Shenyang has many world-renowned places of scenic and historic interest, such as the Shenyang Imperial Palace, Imperial Mausoleums (Fuling and Zhaoling mausoleums), Huishan Scenic Area, Magic Slope, September 18th Incident Museum and Former Residence of Zhang Xueliang.
