Yinchuan

Yinchuan is the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and its political, economic and cultural center as well. Located at the center of East Asian Continent and North China, it has a population of more than 1 million people.

Yinchuan is bordered by the Helan Mountain on the west and the Yellow River on the east. A large number of cultural sites of the Western Xia Dynasty, picturesque waterside towns, religious sites, unique scenery along the Great Wall and colorful customs of the Hui people make Yinchuan (and Ningxia) one of the most attractive places in West China.
