Lijiang Comes to NYC’s Times Square

A video entitled “Welcome to Lijiang” and featuring the natural scenery and ethnic culture and customs of the Lijiang area is now playing in New York’s Times Square daily. The video is about two minutes long and consists of four “chapters” that represent aspects of Lijiang. The video runs on the monstrous Xinhua News Agency screen for all the world to see, and with the goal of bringing North American visitors to Lijiang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in China.
