Madame Tussauds to Open in Beijing

Announced earlier this month, the world-famous Madame Tussauds will come to Beijing with a scheduled opening in 2014. Madame Tussauds’ parent company, Merlin Entertainment, already has successful tourist attractions in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Wuhan. As the 16th Madame Tussauds worldwide and the fourth one to open in China, the Beijing location will be a multi-million Yuan investment, and will located in the heart of the city close to Tiananmen Square, making it easily accessible for tourists to visit while in Beijing.

Statues of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are on display in Salitun, Beijing. Sponsored by Merrill Lynch, Beijing Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum was launched last week and will open doors to the outside in 2014
