NBA Promotes Beijing and Presents Thrilled Fan Free Trip

Marking the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-US diplomatic relations, Beijing Tourism rocked the NBA court on March 16, 2014 at the AT&T center in San Antonio, Texas. Thousands of Beijing maps were handed out at the game and Beijing Tourism ads were colorfully displayed on the home court base boards. Perhaps most exciting, one lucky fan won a free trip to Beijing, China courtesy of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development (BMCTD). Yang Song, Culture Counselor from Consulate-General of China in Houston, and Wang Yue, Vice Chairman of BMCTD, presented the prize to the excited Spurs fan and trip winner, Andrew Gomez.

BMCTD hopes this partnership with the Spurs and the NBA will attract travelers to China to see what Beijing and China have to offer.
