New Route to China from San Francisco

China Eastern Airlines (MU) has announced an upcoming flight between Qingdao and San Francisco, making getting to China from the West Coast of the U.S. even easier. The new flight will operate twice a week starting August 8, 2013.

Flight MU589 is scheduled to take off from Qingdao Liuting International Airport (TAO) at 10:05 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday (Beijing time), with a stopover at Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), and arrive at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) at 9:30 a.m. (local time). The return flight MU590 will depart from San Francisco on Tuesday and Sunday at 12:00 p.m. (local time) and arrive at TAO at 7:10 p.m. the next day (Beijing time).
