New Subway Lines in Beijing on fast track

Beijing will open a new subway line, the Line 14, and complete the extension of the existing Line 10, this May to improve transportation in the southern part of the city. Once the last two stations of Line 10 are open to the public in May, it will become the longest line in the city. These improvements to the subway lines have proven to ease transportation throughout the city and to make travel to and from the southern parts of the city as convenient as in the northern parts. Beijing will continue to work on improving its transportation infrastructure in order to make travel more convenient and smooth throughout the city.
