Calling it “the Chinese megacity you’ve never heard of,” the New York Post recently featured Suzhou, “the green, canal-laced city about 65 miles west of Shanghai offering ancient heritage and natural beauty.”

Suzhou is “a fantastic destination for second-time visitors to China, or those looking for a respite from the crowds. Visitors get to dive into the country’s splendor and culture.”

From the Suzhou Museum and Tiger Hill Pagoda to picturesque Shantang Street and Pingjiang Road, the article provides an introduction to the city known as “the Venice of China.”
