Ritz Carlton to Open World’s Largest Public Golf Complex in China

The Ritz-Carlton, Mission Hills is slated to open on the tropical island of Hainan in China in late 2015. Adding to the luxury hotel brand’s growing portfolio of high-end hotels and resorts in China, the new property will be The Ritz-Carlton’s first golf resort in China. The 201 room resort will include 21 private villas, and its Haikou Missions Hills Golf Club will offer 10 world-class golf courses – making it the largest public golf course in the world.

Located on Hainan, the area is renowned for its pristine white-sand beaches as well as historically significant sites including The Temple of Five Lords and other local imperial seafaring heritage.

The Ritz-Carlton, Mission Hills is not just limited to golf: the resort will also have five restaurants and bars, a Ritz-Carlton spa, tennis courts, swimming pools and more. To read more about the property, go to: http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Properties/Haikou/Default.htm.
