Shanghai Night Market Recalls Traditional Nightlife

The 2014 Yuyuan Old Shanghai Night Market is on now through August 24 in the central square of Shanghai’s Yuyuan Gardens. Old-style shops, live performances (including storytelling called “pingshu” and music) and more will take place during the two-week-long market, where traditional summer nightlife is on display.
