Shangri-La Hotels Opens Two New Hotels in China

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts debuted two new Shangri-La hotels in mainland China in August, increasing the number of Shangri-La properties throughout China to 43 total. Shangri-La Hotel, Qufu opened in the historic hometown of Confucius in early August, while Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang opened mid-August in Shenyang, the largest city in Northeast China and an important industrial base.
