The beautiful scenery around Guilin is renowned for inspiring Chinese poets and artists alike. The mountain views often appear as the subject of ink-scroll illustrations. Wendy Wu Concierge is designed for clients who want to experience the very best of a destination and do it completely on their own terms…the ultimate destination with the ultimate in luxury.

A highlight of any visit to Guilin is a leisurely cruise down the Li River past limestone hills, tranquil fishing scenes and picturesque villages. Continue downstream to reach the countryside town of Yangshuo, and discover the lush green rice paddies of Southern China.

Yangshuo is an attractive town to stroll slowly along the streets, exploring markets and stopping in local cafes. Another unforgettable experience is the “Impression Sanjie Lu,” a spectacular sound and light show set on the river with hundreds of performers.

To fully immerse themselves in the spectacular scenery of Guilin, clients have the choice of walking, cycling or rafting in the area, stopping as they wish to take photographs, explore the countryside and observe daily life. They may also enjoy a private photograph session with one of the famous cormorant fishermen.

Guilin is famous for its cave systems, and Concierge travelers can explore one of the best examples, Reed Flute Cave, with stalactites and stalagmites illuminated by colored lights.
