Dive into the colorful world of China with this introductory package tour to Beijing and Shanghai. Visit the Forbidden City. Once home to 24 emperors, this massive palace complex has 9,999 rooms and is situated in the center of Beijing. Right in front of the palace is Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world. Of course, a trip to Beijing would not be complete without climbing the Great Wall of China. One of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World, the Great Wall (with all of its branches) stretches an astonishing 13,171 miles across the country.

After visiting the historical center of China, fly to Shanghai to see a modern 20th century China. Once known as the “Paris of the East,” Shanghai has become China’s most cosmopolitan city and its skyline is known the world over for its futuristic architecture. No visit to Shanghai is complete without a visit to the Bund, where you can see classic European style buildings  with modern skyscrapers along the Huangpu River.

This tour was made with the independent traveler in mind. It allows for maximum freedom for you to explore on your own.
