Terracotta Warriors among Top 25 Museums in World

Only one museum in Asia was included in TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards for Top 25 Museums in the World and that was China’s Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses in Xi’An.  The annual awards are determined based on TripAdvisor travelers’ reviews. For 2013, the Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses was ranked not only #11 in the World, but also the #1 museum in Asia. The enormous museum features more than 7,000 life-size terracotta figures of warriors and horses created to guard Qin Shi Huang’s tomb more than 2,000 years ago.

In addition to the Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the famous Palace Museum in Beijing ranked as the second most popular museum in all of Asia.
