High-Speed Railroads from Beijing are Massively Successful Ways to Travel in China

Rail Travel Prevails

The high-speed railway line that connects Beijing and Shanghai – and cuts travel time between the two major cities from eight-plus hours to only five hours – has already reached more than 100 million passenger trips since its initial operation in June 2011.
