Update from 2017 National Tourism Work Conference in Changsha

The 2017 National Tourism Work Conference was recently held in Changsha. The central task for 2017 is “to accelerate the transition from extensive tourism development to comparatively intensive development.”

CNTA Chairman Li Jinzao called for expansion of efforts to promote holistic tourism, deepening reform of the comprehensive tourism system, furthering the development and improvement of public restroom facilities, extending rural tourism, expanding tourism investment, deepening the reform of management systems for tour guides and travel agencies, and strengthening the growth impetus.
